Exciting Pokemon Vstar Universe
I remember when they revealed the set Vstar Universe, the cards in this set are amazing. When the other card games revealed their art on their cards. I thought Pokemon was behind in terms of artwork. But then I saw the cards on this new set. They are beautiful. Especially the last four cards. It feels like Pokemon knew they had to make something different. In their latest sets they have changed their art style. These four cards here are the chase cards of the Vstar Universe. There are many cards in this set that are beautiful and it feels like they are intended for collection purposes. They have done more full arts with environments in mind, which I think makes the card more beautiful. The cards in the environments scene are more beautiful because they tells a story. It could also be because I’m used to the framed art which the old style pokemon cards are famous for.
I think Vstar Universe is one of the set that many people have been waiting for, because of the beautiful arts in this set. The colors and the environments are now more vibrant. The cards have different setting to them. Card games are now printing the same card in different styles. These different styles are seen differently by people. Some likes to bling out their decks (use the most fancy card art available). Some just play with the regular arts because they have the same effects and do not change the gameplay. But the the “fancy” art cards are still collected to keep for their own collection.
The different or more fancy style arts are difficult to pull from a pack. You have to open probably 100+ packs to get one of these golden art styled cards. It may also vary on luck. Then there are 4 different chase cards. In the end it gets quite expensive to just open packs. It may take a while before you pull all four chase cards from the vstar universe. It would be better just buying the cards. In the long run you will save money on this. I think in the future the art on the cards will just be more collectible. The Jhoto legendary pokemon from the Vstar universe are also beautiful in this set.
Opening packs is a hobby and is not a big deal for some people to open 100+ packs. But it can be expensive for some of us, especially if opening packs is not your day job on youtube. Opening packs are fun. The thrill of getting something rare is awesome. The addiction is real.
The Pokemon cards are now more beautiful. You will for sure see on our social channels more of Pokemon cards in the near future. Not just pokemon, there are many big IPs on the rise in 2023.
